Keito Nakamura Joins Olympique Lyonnais on Four-Year Deal

Olympique Lyonnais has officially confirmed the signing of Japanese player Keito Nakamura. The transfer from Stade de Reims involves a €1.0 million fixed fee with potential add-ons reaching €19.0 million. A sell-on clause up to 12.5% is also included.

Born in Abiko, Nakamura has made his mark in European football after stints at several clubs. He was a significant player at Stade de Reims, scoring 30 goals in 97 matches. At 26, he has 270 appearances for club and country and was part of Japan's 2026 World Cup squad.

Nakamura expressed happiness about joining OL, noting the significance of being the club's first Japanese player. His versatility and experience are expected to strengthen Lyon's attacking options.
