Mahamadou Diawara loaned to Antwerp by Olympique Lyonnais

Olympique Lyonnais has formalized Mahamadou Diawara's paid loan to Royal Antwerp until the end of the season. This temporary transfer is worth €250,000, with a purchase option set at €3 million. A clause provides for a 20% profit-sharing on any potential capital gains.

Arriving at Lyon in 2023, the French U19 international played 16 matches with the team before helping Le Havre in the second half of last season, contributing to their survival in Ligue 1. Diawara is under contract with OL until 2028. The Lyon team wishes him a successful season in Antwerp.
