Olympique Lyonnais Signs Belgian Winger Julien Duranville

Olympique Lyonnais has confirmed the signing of Belgian winger Julien Duranville from Borussia Dortmund. The contract spans five seasons, concluding on June 30, 2031. The agreement involves a transfer fee of €5 million, with possible bonuses reaching €3.5 million, and up to a 20% sell-on clause on future capital gains.

Julien Duranville, born in 2006 in Uccle, is known for his exceptional talent. He began his career at Anderlecht's academy and made his professional debut in 2022. After 11 appearances with Anderlecht, he moved to Borussia Dortmund in 2023. During his time there, he gained experience in the UEFA Champions League and earned two caps for Belgium.

Recently, Duranville was on loan at FC Basel, scoring twice in 17 appearances. At 20, he joins Olympique Lyonnais, aligning with the team's strategic vision. Expressing his excitement, Duranville aims to adapt to the team's needs and looks forward to collaborating with his new teammates.
