Ostrom Climate Terminates UPRIIS ERPA Agreement

Ostrom Climate Solutions Inc. announced it has terminated the Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement (ERPA) related to the UPRIIS project in the Philippines. This decision follows a mutual settlement effective as of December 8, 2025. The original agreement was executed on April 17, 2024.

The strategic shift aligns with Ostrom's new focus on compliance-oriented carbon markets. The company sees these markets as offering stronger commercial and financial prospects. They plan to reposition the UPRIIS project under a compliance-driven framework, moving away from its voluntary-market design.

Navdeep Dhaliwal, Chairman and CEO, highlighted the potential value for shareholders in pursuing compliance-focused pathways. Ostrom aims to further develop UPRIIS as a prominent rice methane-reduction initiative under this new strategy.
