Panasonic Unveils New Innovations in Broadcast Technology

Panasonic Connect Europe has announced advancements in broadcast and ProAV technology designed to enhance live production efficiency. These innovations were unveiled in Wiesbaden, Germany, and feature improvements in image processing, automation, and workflow.

The highlights include two new control panels for the KAIROS IT/IP platform, aimed at large-scale live productions. The panels are designed to reduce operator fatigue with larger touch panels providing easy access to essential functions. The panels will be available in 2027.

Additionally, Panasonic's Image Adjust Pro software introduces automatic colour-matching, which aligns multiple cameras' colours without needing specialist expertise. This update simplifies pre-production and enhances workflow efficiency, expected by late 2026.

Furthermore, Panasonic introduces advanced colour adjustment features for 4K cameras. These include improved colour temperature blending and target colour correction, beneficial for live events and productions featuring LED walls.
