ParTec AG Strengthens European AI Leadership with JUPITER Supercomputer

Munich-based ParTec AG has unveiled JUPITER, Europe's fastest supercomputer, reinforcing the continent's AI leadership and technological sovereignty. JUPITER, co-developed with Bull, holds the fifth spot globally and leads Europe in the TOP500 supercomputers list, boasting energy-efficient exascale computing capabilities. It highlights Europe's prowess in deploying world-class supercomputing infrastructure based on local technologies, crucial for AI and scientific advancements.

JUPITER showcases ParTec's patented dynamic Modular System Architecture (dMSA) and JUPITER Management Stack (JMS), underlining ParTec's pivotal role in delivering high-performance and energy-efficient systems. CEO Bernhard Frohwitter emphasizes the company's contributions to setting global standards in efficiency and scalability.

Funded by EuroHPC JU, JUPITER is a landmark in Europe's strategy for technological sovereignty, aligning with the European Commission's Tech Sovereignty Package. Its development strengthens independent high-performance computing and AI capabilities.
