Partners Group Invests $250 Million in Avenue Capital's Aviation Leasing Portfolio

Partners Group has invested $250 million in a continuation vehicle for Avenue Capital Group's global aviation leasing portfolio. This marks one of the largest transportation transactions by Partners Group's infrastructure secondaries strategy.

The diversified portfolio comprises 69 mid-life aviation projects, involving narrowbody and widebody aircraft as well as regional jets. It's supported by contracted cash flows from 30 airlines across Asia, Europe, and North America.

With production delays causing a shortage of new aircraft, the market increasingly relies on mid-life planes and spare parts. This shift in industry dynamics supports the enduring value of aircraft and parts.

Avenue Capital and Partners Group foresee steady income from this well-managed portfolio. The partnership provides an option for existing investors while engaging with new opportunities in the aviation sector.
