Partners Group Launches Special Opportunities Strategy

Partners Group, a leader in the global private markets industry, has officially launched a new special opportunities strategy. This move aims to address the growing investment opportunities anticipated from a transforming global economy. The strategy will provide capital solutions across corporate assets, real assets, and liquidity-driven prospects.

The firm has appointed Joshua Hartz from Bain Capital to lead the dedicated team, which will operate globally, with a focus on transactions in structured liquidity for founder-led businesses and investing in assets with constrained balance sheets. The strategy is designed to leverage full investment capabilities from the Partners Group platform, offering flexible capital with an emphasis on both downside protection and upside potential.

This initiative is the latest addition to Partners Group's multi-strategy platform, which already includes private equity, infrastructure, and royalties, managing over USD 185 billion globally.
