Pinecone Expands AI Infrastructure in Europe with Frankfurt Launch

Pinecone Systems Inc has announced its expansion into the AWS Europe (Frankfurt) Region, introducing its serverless vector database and knowledge infrastructure to central Europe. This new presence enables organizations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to benefit from low-latency AI workloads with local data residency.

The Frankfurt launch aligns with Pinecone's new offerings, including the Nexus knowledge engine, KnowQL query language, and Pinecone Marketplace featuring over 90 applications. Additionally, a new Builder tier and native full-text search enhance the core database capabilities.

CEO Ash Ashutosh emphasizes that expanding into Frankfurt offers European organizations access to knowledge infrastructure that over 9,000 global customers trust, accommodating the region's data residency and regulatory needs.
