Abdul Khaliq Joins OPmobility as Head of Innovation & Software

In a strategic move to strengthen its position in tech-driven mobility markets, OPmobility has appointed Abdul Khaliq as Executive Vice President for Innovation & Software. Khaliq, a seasoned veteran with over 20 years in the automotive and technology sectors, will join the Group’s Executive Committee. His role involves leading the Group’s innovation roadmap and overseeing OP'nSoft, its software development entity.

Khaliq's prior experience includes senior roles at Alpine Electronics, ADIT, Continental, and more recently Hyundai MOBIS, where he directed transitions toward software-defined vehicles. Félicie Burelle, CEO of OPmobility, emphasized the importance of innovation in the company's evolution, expressing confidence in Khaliq's expertise to drive transformation in an era of safer and more sustainable mobility.
