Playtomic Launches Community Investment via Crowdcube
Madrid, Spain - Playtomic has announced its first community investment initiative, collaborating with Crowdcube to invite its community members to become investors. This move is set to expand Playtomic’s global network, which currently connects over 4.7 million racket sports enthusiasts.
The initiative allows Playtomic community members to own a stake in the company, supporting its mission to build the world’s largest racket sports community. CEO Félix Ruiz emphasizes that this campaign aims not just at financial growth but also at technological enhancement and global expansion.
The crowdfunding campaign, running from November 5th to 18th, focuses on international growth, introducing new features, and entering new sports markets like pickleball. Playtomic’s effort aligns with the rising popularity of padel, with 50 new clubs opening weekly worldwide.
