Porsche Reports 122,306 Sports Car Deliveries in First Half of 2026
Porsche AG announced the delivery of 122,306 vehicles in the first half of 2026, marking a 16% decline from the previous year. The reduction is attributed to the end of production for the combustion-engine 718, previously robust demand for the electric Macan, and the cessation of U.S. tax incentives for electric and hybrid vehicles.
Despite these challenges, the 911 model line experienced a 19% surge in demand. North America remained Porsche's largest market with 37,712 vehicles delivered, although also witnessing a decline due to policy changes. The Cayenne emerged as the best-selling model with 38,141 deliveries, with its electric version rolling out in June.
CEO Matthias Becker noted positive feedback on recent launches, including the 911 GT3 S/C and Taycan’s E-Shift system. Porsche plans to align product offerings with demand and will unveil its Strategy 2035 during the upcoming Capital Markets Day.
