PPF Exits ProSiebenSat.1 After Catalyzing Better Offer for Shareholders

PPF IM Ltd., part of the PPF Group, has announced its decision to exit its position in ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. Initially holding a 15.68% stake, PPF will tender its shares into MFE-MediaForEurope’s offer, finalizing its divestment and unwinding its financial instruments in ProSiebenSat.1.

Despite the limited acceptance of MFE's offer, MFE controls over 43% of voting rights, enough for a simple majority. This situation made it challenging for PPF to maintain its strategic investment role, although the company succeeded in catalyzing an improvement in MFE's offer.

While exiting ProSiebenSat.1, PPF continues to see opportunities in Germany, retaining interests in Vitronic and Škoda Transportation, affirming its commitment to the German market's potential.
