PPX Mining Corp. Boosts Callanquitas Community Through Education and Infrastructure Projects
PPX Mining Corp., in collaboration with its Peruvian partner Proyectos La Patagonia, has initiated construction of infrastructure at Callanquitas School. This follows an agreement with the Regional Education Office in La Libertad, signed on June 2, 2025, aiming to enhance educational resources for the local youth.
The project includes a new 380-meter perimeter wall around Callanquitas School, featuring two access gates, with a total investment exceeding USD 350,000. Completion is expected by the end of the year. Additionally, PPX has undertaken road maintenance to improve the 15-kilometer access road to the mine, benefiting both logistical operations and local residents. This investment is estimated at USD 150,000.
PPX Mining is committed to fostering sustainable development and maintaining positive relations with nearby communities, further demonstrated by their financial support for the school's teaching personnel.
