Prodways Group to Sell Software Business to Focus on Core Activities
Prodways Group has signed an agreement to sell its Software business, driven by subsidiary AvenAo, a specialist in 3D design software distribution and integration. This move aligns with Prodways' 2025 strategy to divest from the Systems division. Upon transaction approval, the company plans to distribute a significant portion of the proceeds to shareholders, with details forthcoming.
AvenAo, a leading French distributor of Dassault Systèmes' solutions, added €13.5 million in revenue and €3.9 million in EBITDA to Prodways in 2025. The sale is valued at €35 million, surpassing Prodways' market capitalization at the latest closing price.
The transaction awaits certain approvals, including that of a strategic partner and the Prodways shareholders' meeting. Completion is expected in the coming months, with buyer details confidential. The Board will finalize the redistribution terms of the sale proceeds soon.
