Pyrum Innovations AG and Pirelli Sign Long-term Agreements

Pyrum Innovations AG has announced long-term supply and offtake agreements with Pirelli as part of the European Tyre-to-Tyre initiative. Under these agreements, Pirelli will purchase Pyrum’s ThermoTireBlack® (TTB) for use in European tyre production, while supplying Pyrum with end-of-life tyres from Germany.

The contracts enhance Pyrum's access to feedstock and guarantee an industrial application for its products. Utilizing its thermolysis technology, Pyrum transforms old tyres into TTB and ThermoTireOil®, which serve as resource-efficient alternatives in tyre and chemical industries.

Both firms highlight the collaboration’s role in validating Pyrum’s technology within a certified European value chain, sharing the initiative with companies like BASF and Synthos. CEO Pascal Klein emphasizes the strategic importance of these agreements, showcasing the industrial acceptability of Pyrum's innovations.
