Pyrum Innovations AG Begins Construction on New Plant in Perl-Besch

Pyrum Innovations AG has received approval to begin early construction of a new recycling plant in Perl-Besch, located at the border triangle of Germany, France, and Luxembourg. The plant will have an annual capacity to recycle 22,400 tonnes of end-of-life tyres. The groundbreaking is planned for July 2025, with commissioning expected in early 2027.

The new facility aims to enhance Pyrum's recycling efforts in Saarland, marking its second independent plant. The strategic location provides excellent access to the Moselle, railway lines, and a motorway, optimizing logistics for tyre delivery and product transport.

Pyrum is in the final stages of financing discussions, with support from BASF's EUR 25 million credit line. Discussions with a major European bank and other partners are underway, aiming to ensure full financing of the Perl-Besch plant and another project in the Czech Republic.
