Pyrum Innovations and SUAS Ecology Form Joint Venture in Czechia

Pyrum Innovations AG and SUAS Ecology s.r.o. have finalized a shareholder agreement for a joint recycling plant in Czechia. Pyrum secured a 49% equity stake, valued at EUR 8.6 million, and a ten-year oil offtake agreement for the plant. This collaboration, named SUAS reTIRE s.r.o., aims to develop a cutting-edge recycling facility with an annual capacity of over 22,000 tonnes of end-of-life tyres. The facility is scheduled to commence operations in 2027, located in Vřesová, near the German-Czech border.

This project represents a step towards resource-efficient energy recovery, as the site already hosts a power plant capable of converting pyrolysis gas into electricity. The joint venture marks an important stride in expanding the circular economy in Europe.

Pascal Klein, CEO of Pyrum, emphasized the significance of the partnership as a demonstration of the circular economy's industrial viability. The collaboration seeks to align sustainable practices with economic success.
