QIAGEN Announces CEO Transition Plan
QIAGEN N.V., based in Venlo, Netherlands, has announced a transition plan for its Chief Executive Officer. Thierry Bernard will step down from his role as CEO and Managing Director upon appointment of a successor. The Supervisory Board believes the timing is right for a leadership change.
An executive search firm is assisting in the process to find both internal and external candidates for the position. Bernard, aged 61, has been with QIAGEN since 2015 and served as CEO since 2019. He will remain until a new CEO is in place and will not seek re-election at the next Annual General Meeting in June 2026.
QIAGEN is committed to its strategic plans and aims for continued growth. Updates regarding the CEO transition will be provided as necessary.
