Rentschler Biopharma SE has successfully implemented a new energy management system (EnMS) at its Laupheim facility, earning the ISO 50001 certification. This achievement marks another milestone following their ISO 27001 certification in 2024. The ISO 50001 standard aids organizations in optimizing energy performance and promoting efficient management practices. This not only enhances energy efficiency but also reduces consumption, benefiting both environmental and cost factors.

Christiane Bardroff, COO at Rentschler Biopharma, highlighted the company's dedication to sustainability and the importance of this certification. Tobias Kubsch, Head of Engineering, EHS, and Sustainability, praised the team's effort in implementing the system within nine months without any deviation.
