CPH Group Adjusts Payout Ratio Amid Mixed HY26 Results
The CPH Group has announced an increase in its payout ratio to 40-60%, spurred by enhanced cash generation. Net sales for HY26 reached CHF 176.1 million, marking a marginal 0.1% year-on-year rise. This stability owes largely to acquisitions, which contributed 3.8%, offsetting adverse currency effects. However, EBITDA fell by 6.3% to CHF 28.3 million due to a downturn in high-margin sectors and increased acquisition-related costs.
Perlen Packaging recorded net sales of CHF 118.5 million, up 0.1%, supported by European demand. Zeochem faced a challenging period with stable net sales but a 9.2% EBIT margin affected by market saturation and intense competition.
Looking ahead, CPH anticipates a positive second half, projecting slight sales and EBITDA growth. Nonetheless, the Group remains cautious, prioritizing cost management to navigate a complex economic environment.
