Ringmetall Acquires Thermoforming Business from New England Plastics

Ringmetall SE, a key player in industrial packaging, has acquired the Thermoforming Division of New England Plastics Corp. This acquisition, carried out as an asset deal, aims to bolster Ringmetall's liner business in the U.S. The Thermoforming Division, based in New Bedford, Massachusetts, is known for producing rigid and form liners along with other thermoforming products for industrial packaging solutions.

The acquisition sustains all 41 employees of the division and is expected to generate revenues in the high single-digit million USD range. This move enhances Ringmetall's existing operations in New York, expanding its product line and paving the way for future growth. While the EBITDA margin remains typical for the sector, the acquisition is financed through Ringmetall's resources and credit lines, with the purchase price undisclosed.
