Rio Grande Resources Completes 2025 Field Program at Winston Project
Rio Grande Resources Ltd. announced the successful completion of its 2025 geological field program at the Winston Gold-Silver Project in New Mexico. The program, conducted by Dahrouge Geological Consulting USA Ltd., focused on detailed geological mapping and surface sampling from December 2 to 8, 2025. This work aimed to deepen understanding of the epithermal gold-silver system and refine exploration targets.
The findings confirmed the presence of a well-developed low-sulfidation epithermal vein system. A total of 72 samples were collected, and 58 historic mine workings were documented. The mineralized system was found to be potentially extensive, suggesting it may host a district-scale epithermal system.
The company plans further exploration, integrating recent findings into an updated geological model. This will guide drill planning, supported by potential geophysical surveys and improved access efforts.
