Rixos Hotels Expands in Hurghada with New Bay View Resort

Rixos Hotels Egypt has launched its second resort in Hurghada, named Rixos Premium Magawish Bay View, enhancing its presence on Egypt's Red Sea coast. This opening reinforces Hurghada's appeal, particularly to German tourists, a crucial market with about 1.7 million visiting Egypt annually. The region benefits from direct flights from major German cities, boosting its reputation as a sun-and-beach destination.

Situated close to Hurghada International Airport, the new resort complements the nearby Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas, forming a major resort area with diverse accommodation and leisure options. The facility includes 442 units and a variety of dining experiences, supplemented by pools, water sports, and wellness facilities.

CEO Erkan Yildirim emphasizes the resort's role in the long-term growth strategy and its contribution to establishing Hurghada as a premium destination. The resort's opening follows recognition of its sister property in German-oriented HolidayCheck rankings.
