Rockwell Automation Enhances Lucid's Saudi EV Plant with Advanced Software
Rockwell Automation, a leader in industrial automation, has announced a collaboration with Lucid to boost its electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. Located in King Abdullah Economic City, the facility is Saudi Arabia's first vehicle manufacturing site, part of the nation's Vision 2030 objectives.
Lucid will implement Rockwell's FactoryTalk® MES software to streamline production operations in areas such as assembly and powertrain. This software offers Lucid enhanced visibility and control, aiming to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability of the production process.
Rockwell will also provide training programs to develop local expertise in EV manufacturing, supporting the Kingdom's sustainable industrial growth goals. This partnership underscores Rockwell's dedication to advanced manufacturing technologies in alignment with local standards.
