Safran's Strong First Quarter 2025 Revenue Growth

Graphique de l'évolution du cours de l'action SAFRAN (EPA:SAF).

Safran has announced an adjusted revenue increase of 16.7% in the first quarter of 2025, totaling €7,257 million. This growth is driven by robust performances in both civil aerospace and defense sectors. CEO Olivier Andriès emphasized significant civil aftermarket revenues and the company's proactive approach to mitigate potential tariff impacts through supply chain adjustments and customer engagements.

The propulsion division saw a 16.4% rise, particularly propelled by spare parts sales for civil engines, including the CFM56 and LEAP engines. The equipment and defense segment increased by 10.8%, with strong contributions from nacelles, landing systems, and avionics. Aircraft interiors grew by 13.8%, exceeding pre-pandemic levels partly due to a surge in business class seat deliveries.

Safran retains its full-year outlook for 2025, projecting around 10% revenue growth and maintaining its focus on managing economic challenges, including the impact of tariffs.
