Saint-Gobain Secures Renewable Electricity Agreement in the UK

Saint-Gobain has entered a renewable electricity purchase agreement with TotalEnergies in the UK. This deal will provide 60 GWh annually to the Group's industrial sites for five years, starting in April 2027. This marks a significant step in Saint-Gobain’s decarbonization plan.

The contract covers over 20% of Saint-Gobain's annual electricity use in the UK, adding to existing certified renewable sources already accounting for 100% of its operations there since 2016. This move aligns with the company's ambition to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

In 2025, 70% of the Group's global electricity was decarbonized, a significant increase from 39% in 2021. Saint-Gobain has secured 25 major agreements in 15 countries.
