Saint-Gobain Sells Dahl Distribution Business in Scandinavia
On November 2, 2026, Saint-Gobain finalized the sale of its Dahl specialist distribution business in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark to Kesko. The business, under the Dahl brand, recorded sales of €2,068 million in 2025, employing 2,700 personnel across 190 outlets.
The transaction values the business at €1,518 million, reflecting a multiple of 10.4 times the 2025 EBITDA, including lease commitments as per IFRS 16 standards. Excluding lease commitments, the multiple is 14.6 times the 2025 EBITDA.
This divestment aligns with Saint-Gobain's "Lead & Grow" strategic plan, which aims to refine its business operations. The transaction is a continuation of Saint-Gobain's focus to optimize its profile within the global market.
