PUMA Appoints Dominique Gathier as Vice President Teamsport

PUMA has announced the appointment of Dominique Gathier as Vice President of its Teamsport business, effective May 15, 2025. Gathier succeeds Matthias Bäumer, who transitioned to PUMA's Chief Commercial Officer role earlier this year. In his new position, Gathier will report to Maria Valdes, PUMA's Chief Product Officer.

Gathier has been with PUMA for 19 years, holding various roles including Senior Director of Product Line Management for Teamsport Footwear and Equipment. His tenure has been marked by contributions to the launch of successful products like FUTURE, ULTRA, and KING. He pursued his management studies at Kedge Business School in Bordeaux, France.

In his new role, Gathier will oversee product strategies and work closely with PUMA's partners, including clubs and federations. The Teamsport division focuses on football, rugby, and other region-specific sports.
