PUMA CCO Matthias Baeumer to Step Down from Management Board

Matthias Baeumer, PUMA’s Chief Commercial Officer, has decided to step down from the Management Board effective 30 September 2026 citing personal reasons. During the interim, PUMA CEO Arthur Hoeld will manage the company’s sales operations and subsidiaries. A successor for Baeumer will be announced in due course.

Baeumer, who spent nearly 20 years with PUMA, will remain connected with the brand as a consultant and continue his role on the Supervisory Board of Borussia Dortmund. He has held numerous leadership positions at PUMA, starting as Sales Director for Germany and Benelux, and later becoming General Manager for the DACH region.

From 1 October 2026, PUMA's Management Board will include Arthur Hoeld, Mark Langer as CFO, Maria Valdes as Chief Brand Officer, and Andreas Hubert as COO.
