Sarama Resources Grants Equity Incentives to Key Personnel
Vancouver, BC and Perth, Australia - On August 31, 2026, Sarama Resources Ltd. announced the grant of 16,500,000 Performance Share Units (PSUs) to its Directors and CFO. This decision follows the company's Equity Incentive Plan approved by shareholders in December 2022.
The CFO will receive 1,500,000 PSUs, while directors are allocated the remaining 15,000,000 PSUs, pending shareholder approval. These awards address directors' increased responsibilities amid ongoing arbitration, aiming to balance remuneration without increasing cash disbursements.
The PSUs will vest between August 2027 and 2031, contingent on both retention conditions and proceedings outcomes with Burkina Faso. Directors' roles have expanded to include strategic oversight amid arbitration challenges.
