Sartorius AG Extends CFO Florian Funck's Tenure

Sartorius AG's Supervisory Board has extended the tenure of Dr. Florian Funck as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Board member until March 31, 2032. Funck, 55, has a storied career, having studied business administration at the University of Münster, where he later became an honorary professor. He spent over two decades with the Haniel Group and served as CFO from 2011 to 2023.

Joining Sartorius in April 2024, Funck manages Finance & Controlling, IT & Process, Corporate Compliance, Internal Audit, and Corporate Sourcing. He is also on the Supervisory Board of Vonovia SE. Sartorius’ Executive Board includes Dr. Michael Grosse as Chairman and CEO, assisted by Dr. René Fáber and Dr. Alexandra Gatzemeyer, leading their respective divisions.
