Michael Grosse takes over as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sartorius Stedim Biotech SA
On June 18, 2025, Sartorius Stedim Biotech SA, based in Aubagne, France, announced a leadership change within its Board of Directors. Michael Grosse, recently appointed CEO of Sartorius AG, was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sartorius Stedim Biotech, replacing Joachim Kreuzburg. The latter had held the position since 2007 and announced his retirement in December 2024.
Michael Grosse, 58, has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and food packaging industries. He previously headed Syntegon Technology GmbH and was a member of the Tetra Pak Management Board. With his appointment, Sartorius Stedim Biotech hopes to continue its global expansion in the biopharmaceutical industry.
