Schneider Electric Reports Q1 2025 Growth Amid Economic Uncertainty
Schneider Electric has posted robust growth in its first quarter revenues for 2025, achieving €9.3 billion, representing a 7.4% organic increase. This performance is attributed to the thriving Energy Management segment, which experienced a 9.6% rise primarily driven by the Data Center end-market. Conversely, the Industrial Automation sector showed a marginal decline of 0.9%, although there is a notable recovery in the Discrete automation sector, especially in China.
Geographically, the growth was led by North America with a 15.2% increase and the Asia Pacific rising by 9.3%, with strong momentum observed in the Indian market. The company's portfolio has been strengthened through the acquisition of Motivair Corp. and a new joint venture with StarCharge, enhancing its position in liquid cooling and EV infrastructure solutions.
Chief Executive Officer Olivier Blum expressed confidence in Schneider's structural growth drivers, emphasizing the ongoing trends towards electrification, automation, and digitalization. Despite macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainties, the company is confident in achieving its fiscal year 2025 targets.
