Schweizer Electronic AG has reported a 20% increase in revenue for the first quarter of 2026, reaching €47.3 million. The growth was driven by increased activity in the Aviation & Defence segment, contributing €0.8 million to revenue. Automotive and industrial customer segments also saw an 18% rise, outpacing market averages.
The company's order backlog grew to €211.1 million, with €125.3 million earmarked for deliveries from April to December 2026. EBITDA improved to €-0.4 million, compared to €-1.5 million in Q1 2025, due to effective cost-saving measures. Operating profit was €-1.7 million, against €-2.8 million the previous year.
The management remains cautious due to geopolitical uncertainties and rising material prices, striving to ensure material availability and pass on cost increases to maintain earnings targets for 2026.
