SFC Energy AG Secures First Saudi Arabia Order for Fuel Cells
SFC Energy AG, a German provider of hydrogen and methanol fuel cells, has received its inaugural order from Saudi Arabia. RESTART Limited Company has ordered EFOY Pro methanol fuel cells for 100 public safety systems. This marks SFC's entry into the Saudi market, contributing to revenue and earnings for 2025.
The fuel cells will power CCTV and other monitoring systems in remote areas, supporting uninterrupted and eco-friendly energy supply. This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's focus on clean energy.
The order follows rigorous testing in Saudi Arabia's high temperatures, where SFC’s technology demonstrated superior performance and reliability.
Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC, emphasized this partnership as a strategic growth opportunity in the Middle East. Meanwhile, Mr. Fahad Alsuhaim of RESTART highlighted the alignment with Vision 2030 and logistics advantages.
