Eduardo Montanha Joins Siegfried AG as Chief Operating Officer

Siegfried AG, a global leader in Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services, has appointed Eduardo Montanha as Chief Operating Officer. Effective September 1, 2026, Montanha will also join the Executive Committee. This move follows Siegfried's decision to merge the COO roles for Drug Substances and Drug Products into a singular position, supporting their strategy to offer comprehensive solutions across the pharmaceutical value chain.

Bringing over 20 years of leadership in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Montanha previously held the position of Executive Vice President at Fresenius Kabi. His experience spans roles at Takeda, Sandoz, Hexal, and Hoechst/Aventis.

With a strong background in integrated operations, Montanha will aim to enhance supply performance and operational efficiency at Siegfried. CEO Marcel Imwinkelried expressed confidence in Montanha's ability to boost operational reliability for clients worldwide.
