Siltronic AG has been awarded the prestigious "A-Leadership" rating by CDP in the climate protection and water security categories for 2025. This recognition places the company among the top one percent of firms globally with such accolades. It highlights Siltronic's commitment to sustainable practices and transparent environmental progress.
To achieve these ratings, Siltronic has pledged to cut its direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1 and 2) to net zero by 2045, aiming for a 42 percent reduction by 2030 compared to 2021 levels. These targets align with the Paris Climate Agreement.
Factors leading to the top CDP ranking include Siltronic's high transparency in climate risk management and its collaborations across its value chain. Since 2017, Siltronic has participated in CDP ratings, continuously improving its scores.
