Silver Spruce Resources Resumes Exploration at Melchett Lake Project

Silver Spruce Resources Inc. has announced the restart of exploration activities at its Melchett Lake volcanogenic massive sulphide project in Northern Ontario. This property spans 93 exploration cells, covering 2,325 hectares, and features mineralization with sphalerite, chalcopyrite, galena, and pyrite. Historical assays recorded significant grades including 28.8 g/t of gold and 565 g/t of silver.

The exploration will proceed in phases. Phase I focuses on verifying past geochemical data and assessing mineralization controls and alteration types. Phase II, dependent on Phase I results, may involve up to 1,200 metres of drilling. The company aims to advance collaboration with local First Nations and will apply for necessary permits.

Vice-President Paul K. Smith emphasized assessing the project's economic potential against regional comparisons. Silver Spruce will examine all potential geological models using both historical and newly acquired data.
