ATHA Energy Confirms High-Grade Uranium Discoveries in 2025 Program
ATHA Energy Corp has announced final assay results from its 2025 Angilak Exploration Program in Nunavut, Canada. High-grade uranium mineralization was confirmed at the KU and Mushroom Lake targets. Notably, grades reached up to 1.56% U3O8 at the KU target and 1.10% U3O8 at Mushroom Lake.
The KU Discovery, located within the 14 km long KU-Nine Iron Corridor, revealed uranium mineralization in five out of six drillholes. This suggests a larger mineralizing system is present. Drilling intersected significant mineralization, with notable results from drillhole KU-DD-001 showing high-grade mineralization over 0.5 meters.
In the Lac 50 Deposit Corridor, two drillholes at Mushroom Lake successfully tested uranium mineralization depth. A separate drillhole expanded mineralization at the J4/Ray Zone. Overall, the program underlines substantial uranium potential and a district-scale opportunity in the Angikuni Basin.
