ATHA Energy Corp Unveils New Uranium Discovery at RIB East

ATHA Energy Corp reported the discovery of high-grade uranium mineralization at the RIB East site, part of its 2025 Angilak Exploration Program in Nunavut. The initial three drill holes, targeting gravity, EM, and structural anomalies, uncovered significant uranium presence. This marks the program's second major find outside the Lac 50 Deposit Trend along the 31 km RIB-Nine Iron Trend.

At RIB East, uranium was intersected within three drill holes, the mineralization lying shallow at less than 275 m depth. The site features a 2 km long by 500 m wide gravity anomaly aligned NE to SW. Drill highlights include RIBE-DD-002 with continuous high-grade zones and RIBE-DD-003 displaying a 1 m interval with radioactivity peaking at 30,730 CPS.

The exploration strategy has also identified RIB West as a potential target, thanks to notable gravity anomalies. Continuing exploration targets expanding mineralization footprint and discovering more viable sites in the Angikuni Basin, which remains underexplored yet promising.
