SMAIO Announces €3.6 Million Capital Increase
SMAIO, a specialist in complex spine surgery, has announced a €3.6 million capital increase through the issuance of shares with stock warrants. This initiative, reserved for Eiffel Investment Group, aims to support SMAIO's industrial expansion in the US and further research and development projects.
The capital raised will be used to establish a production facility in Texas and build up stocks to meet the growing demand in North America. Additionally, SMAIO plans to enhance its solution portfolio by integrating new features to improve surgical execution.
The capital increase includes ordinary shares along with stock warrants allowing future share subscriptions. SMAIO expects a total raise of €4.5 million if all warrants are exercised. This strategic move underlines SMAIO's goal to achieve profitable and sustainable growth in the US market.
