SMG Announces Leadership Changes in Real Estate and Corporate Roles

Zurich-based SMG Swiss Marketplace Group Holding AG has announced key leadership changes effective February 2027. Daniel Hendel, current Managing Director of ImmoScout24 Germany, will succeed Martin Waeber as Managing Director of Real Estate. Waeber will transition to non-executive board and advisory roles after serving since 2021. This move ensures continuity in the company's leadership.

Additionally, by April 2027, Chief Corporate Officer Jessica List will depart SMG. Her responsibilities will be redistributed between the CEO and CFO. List joined SMG in 2022 and played a vital role in the company's transformation and IPO readiness. CEO Christoph Tonini expressed gratitude for their significant contributions and welcomed Hendel to the executive team, highlighting his international experience as valuable to SMG's ongoing success in the Real Estate sector.
