Ingo Stober Appointed as New Chief Financial Officer of SMT Scharf AG

SMT Scharf AG has appointed Ingo Stober as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 1, 2026. This move strengthens the company's Managing Board by adding finance and transformation expertise, with a focus on executing 'Strategy 2026'.

Jian Liu, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed confidence in Stober's ability to contribute significantly due to his extensive industry knowledge. Stober, previously Group CFO and COO at Eickhoff Group, brings a wealth of financial management experience.

Stober succeeds Volker Weiss, with current CFO responsibilities being handled by COO Reinhard Reinartz until Stober steps in. SMT Scharf aims to leverage Stober's experience during a pivotal transformation phase in the mining sector.
