SMT Scharf AG Unveils 2026 Financial Forecast and Strategy

SMT Scharf AG has released its financial forecast for 2026, projecting consolidated revenue between EUR 95 million and EUR 115 million, with EBIT anticipated to range from EUR 1 million to EUR 2 million. This aligns with the company's Strategy 2026 aimed at strengthening its presence in underground mining and tunneling.

The strategy focuses on optimizing global supply chain efficiency and expanding the product portfolio towards electromobility and intelligent transport solutions. The company plans to manufacture Light Electric Vehicles (LEV) and battery-powered transport solutions, primarily in China, leveraging subsidiary expertise and advanced lithium battery technology.

Following the closure of its Canadian subsidiary's operations, SMT Scharf AG will undergo workforce adjustments in Hamm, Germany, and Xuzhou, China, to bolster its long-term competitiveness. SMT Scharf GmbH will concentrate on tunnel logistics and after-sales services, while the group headquarters will enhance various functions to support sustainable integration.
