Enapter AG Launches AEM Stack Production in China
Enapter AG has commenced the production of AEM stacks in Shenzhen, China, through its new partner, Runqing Hydrogen Technology Co., Ltd., part of the Runshihua Group. This marks a significant step in Enapter's asset-light business model. The first units are ready for delivery, enabling flexible scaling to meet rising market demand.
The strategic partnership with Runqing, known for its advanced hydrogen technology, allows Enapter to reduce fixed costs and anticipate positive effects on earnings by 2027. The modern, automated facilities support high-volume, cost-efficient production of AEM stacks, which are central to Enapter's electrolysers.
Enapter's CEO, Dr. Jürgen Laakmann, highlights this initiative as a critical milestone, enabling rapid, reliable, and scalable supply to the company's global customer base.
