Extension of the licensing agreement between Soitec and NSIG

Soitec and National Silicon Industry Group Co., Ltd. (NSIG) have announced the extension of their licensing agreement for another decade. This decision responds to increased Chinese demand for Soitec's Silicon On Insulator (SOI) technologies. The agreement remains subject to final approval by NSIG shareholders, expected by the end of March 2026.

NSIG subsidiaries Simgui and Simwings will continue to benefit from this framework, without any technology transfer. This commitment strengthens Soitec's intellectual property rights in China and consolidates its presence in the rapidly expanding market for innovative substrates.

NSIG, a long-standing partner of Soitec, holds a 5.8% stake in the company, signaling a strategic industrial collaboration.
