SSE PLC Posts Promising FY 2025/26 Trading Update
SSE PLC has released an update ahead of its full-year results announcement slated for 28 May 2026. The company anticipates its adjusted Earnings Per Share (EPS) to range between 147 to 152 pence. This comes amid robust operational performance as SSE advances its £33 billion, five-year investment scheme.
The firm has notably increased its capital investments by 60% year-on-year, particularly in regulated networks, with significant progress in transmission projects. Renewable energy generation rose to approximately 14.5 TWh, marking a 10% increase despite mixed weather conditions.
SSE's expected capital investment stands at around £3.5 billion. Its adjusted net debt and hybrid capital are projected to reach just over £10 billion, supported by a liquidity position exceeding £5 billion.
