Star Gold Submits Operations Plan for Longstreet Project
Star Gold Corp., a mining company based in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, announced the submission of a Plan of Operations to the United States Forest Service for its Longstreet Project in Nevada. This plan seeks approval to conduct confirmational core drilling, well installation, and soil sampling at the site.
The drilling aims to verify geological conditions for geo-chemical testing, assessing the potential for mine-waste acid generation. Furthermore, the installation of water wells will support hydrogeologic studies by evaluating water availability. Soil sampling is intended to aid in the design of heap leach pads.
The Longstreet project is a significant gold and silver venture located in Stone Cabin Valley, Nevada. The approval date for the plan is yet to be announced.
