Strategic Metals Appoints New VP to Boost Energy Development

Strategic Metals Ltd. announced the appointment of Sam Wallingham as Vice President of Energy Development. With vast experience in mineral exploration and First Nations negotiations, Wallingham aims to develop energy solutions for the Yukon, utilizing coal from the Division Mountain project.

Located northwest of Whitehorse, the Division Mountain project comprises 370 km² of coal-bearing land. It offers significant potential, with 52.5 million tonnes of bituminous coal reserves. This project aims to address Yukon's medium-term energy needs, leveraging its proximity to key infrastructure.
